Baytech Plastics is at the forefront of the plastic injection moulding industry having roots back to 1949 which was the year we were founded. From humble beginnings, custom injection molding shoe soles and injection molded plastic toys including extrusion and assembly of Hula Hoops, we have grown into a multi-million dollar 2 plant enterprise as a custom contract manufacturer. We have become a major employer having growth from a few dozen employees to hundreds.
We currently range in plastic injection molding equipment from 40 Tons to 2600 Tons of clamping force. Our injection molded plastics services and injection mold design include two shot injection molding. We process many polymers from commodity grades to the very exotic engineering resins for the toughest and most severe applications. We still do injection and compression thermoset molding and one customer has been with us for over 50 years! One mold is actually that old (50 years) and still running production! We know how to maintain tooling.
We have been ISO 9000 registered since 1994 and are currently ISO9002 -2000 registered, again indicating our custom injection molding leadership. We were one of the first Canadian custom plastics injection molders to achieve such designation.
We employ many of the best industry specialists focused on continuing the evolution of custom injection moulding, injection mold manufacturer, and two shot injection molding services. Baytech Plastics has built steadily on our history in injection molded plastics. We offer extensive services in secondary value added operations including painting, pad printing, heat transfers, sonic welding, vibration welding, modular assembly and complete product build.
We serve many markets not limited to but including telecommunication, business machine, automotive, heavy vehicle, appliance, water purification, entertainment, lawn and garden, container, transportation and electrical.
We ship worldwide. Our logistics group handles all documentation for RoHS, International customs and shipment tracking. Our logistics group also manages all direct shipments to our customer’s end user or the retailer. Baytech Plastics is set-up for specialized requirements such as hub warehousing and localized logistics. We custom ship specialized requests via air, ocean, rail and ground.
